I’m working on a marketing report and need a sample draft to help me understand better.I am writing case writeup for cafebene case as attached in pdf format. 1. 1-page writeup due. Avoid regurgitation, assume that the reader is fully conversant with all the case facts. Case facts can and should be mentioned, but only to make a specific point, like highlighting important issues (e.g., Appendix X shows that our competitors are growing while our sales are declining”) and to support your recommendations (we recommend raising the price to X because production cost related facts, competitor price facts, etc…). 2. Go over the 5Cs (to start off with a situation analysis), so you may want to do this for yourself (basically fill out the 5 buckets while you read the case). Seeing everything grouped together in the right bucket will make it easier to separate key facts from less important ones, and the process itself will help you become more familiar with the facts of the case, so that some recommendations begin to occur to you by themselves.3. I also recommend taking a close look at all the figures in the appendices as one can learn quite a bit there from comparing figures across competitors, and about the industry in general. for example, What are the central issues faced by CB?
What would be good information objectives for business research to address CB’s issues?
What frameworks that we have covered so far would be useful to use?

As for what counts as a good analysis, I’m looking for evidence you have read the case carefully and show signs of having given it some real thought (e.g., identifying important priorities, articulating plausible recommendations and supplying convincing supporting evidence). In the case of weak case writeups, it’s nearly always obvious the student didn’t read the case properly (or barely at all) and is trying to wing it through with generalities, or mindless regurgitation of case information. I have trouble thinking of an instance where I thought a case analysis was bad (as in the recommendations don’t make sense) but it looked like the student did spend a lot of time thinking about it. So basically as long as you read the case carefully and do some thinking about it, preferably spread over more than 1 day so your mind can gestate on it, it will be very hard to do a bad writeup.follow all these instructions after you read the pdf. and write the case writeup for this case.
