As an introduction to healthcare marketing, please spend time during the next few weeks monitoring various media platforms (e.g., internet, broadcast, print) for advertising that promotes a healthcare product, service, program, system, etc.
Choose four ads and detail:
The product being marketed (e.g., good, service, idea, organization)
The medium being used (e.g., social media, television, magazine)
The placement of the promotional piece (e.g., ads posted online, time of day for a radio spot, cable versus network television, internet or print news)
The apparent target audience
The ultimate objective (e.g., improve image, attract new business, and/or increase sales volume).
You can present your information in the form of a chart, in columns, or in individual paragraphs. Images, videos, etc. can also be included, but should not be included in the page count (paper length 5-6 pages).
The paper should include an introduction, several paragraphs to discuss your findings (include the chart/columns/paragraphs in this section), and a final conclusion about your thoughts on what you have seen and heard.
