Term Paper Directions
For the last week of regular class, you will have a term paper that will need to be uploaded into Bb. I want you to keep the style of the paper in the in essay form. A summary that would conclude your learning experience for the course. Meaning, not a research paper for which citations and writing style is a crucial element. The Term Paper for this course is more in line with a paper written at the Composition I level. Making the type of format, writing style, and citations unncessary.
The requirements are to write a three pages and double spaced essay term paper. I look to see the depth at which you indulged yourself into the course. The use of economic concepts and application for which you are in touch with when reading the text book. You may choose one or many concepts for which you feel that you have had personal experience with.
This could be a summary of a single concept that will fill a current issue in the world. On the other hand, more than one concept that you wish to use to prove understanding of the course. Use your own words for summary or application(s). The virtual textbook, quizzes, and examinations are your resources for this summary term paper will be based on. It is very important that you use your own word for this learning experience. Within the scope of the course taken. If you cut and paste writing from a source that will not prove you have learned anything. Using computer intelligence to create your draft is easily determined, so do not use that technology to create the 3-page paper. If plagurism of any kind is detected you will be asked to support your understanding during my office hours during virtual meeting. AI websites do not understand economics as well as you can. The information gathered from them doesn’t specifically make the point that is measurable for this course.
Other resources maybe mentioned however not required. Avoid complaining about your job without the use of econonmic theory. You are encrouraged to use a structure that can be used to fit a concept model. Avoid using cable news opinion. This is not a complaint forum or opinions article, yet concept driven. Keep your discussion focused on the topics and concept discussed in the course. Therefore, being concept driven by principles in economics.
