Personal Leadership Report
Each class member will develop an assessment of your personal leadership style and reflection based on leadership surveys, class materials, life experiences, and your personal reflections (5-7 pages) with references and raw data in the appendix(not included in page count). Major features of the paper should include all of the following as minimum criteria for the assignment.
Paragraph introduction to your paper, the rationale (why it is important to know about your personal leadership style), and summary statement.
Theoretical overview – Short description of the major characteristics of theories needed to interpret 360 evaluation. Background, major elements of the theory, and how that connects to the assessment categories.
360-degree evaluation – This will be taken from your synthesis of at least two individual self-evaluations taken from the text and one team-appropriate evaluation given to your team (team-appropriate evaluations are ones that the text asks you to give to team or followers). You do not have to have your team include their names on these evaluations and they can be done anonymously.
Include your findings (scores and interpretations) and average findings from teammates (360-degree eval.) from text assessments. Accuracy is better than a high score. Raw data will be in an appendix (scores from individual evaluation and group evaluations). Synthesized averaged scores will need to be in the text. Additionally, it will include leadership goals and personal leadership experiences. Due on due date but you may want to submit earlier in case there is a glitch in submitting.
Guidelines regarding the narrative of your personal leadership experience
This is a reflection on what you have learned about yourself in terms of leadership integrating course material in the framework provided below. All of the above material needs to be synthesized as well as personal leadership experiences that you may have had and your future goals. The required information below makes good subheadings to help more easily identify information and to make sure that the report is complete. Be sure to integrate leadership concepts specifically from this course using vocabulary and text references with appropriate citations in the paper.

These can be from other assignments within the course if appropriate. The textbook counts as one of the sources. Paper needs to be submitted as a Word file or PDF.

For my favorite leadership style, use the time I worked for my dad at his custom cowboy hat store. The reason for this being my favorite is because he uses a strict authoritarian style to get the job done. If you could go into more detail in what style best fits him and why I like to use this as a reference for myself.
