Reflection Papers are designed for the student to demonstrate learning by reflecting on the
readings of the week in the context of current events. Reflection paper is require citations
and a reference section.
The paper should be submitted as a Word document, double spaced, 4 pages long (at a minimum) with 12 point font and 1 inch margins, and APA. Writing
should use formal grammar with correct spelling and punctuation. As such, a good format
for the paper would be introduction with 3-5 main points, a body that discusses those 3-5
main points in detail, and a conclusion that summarizes the discussion and reminds the
reader of the 3-5 main points. It should avoid being too personal as this is to be an
analytical assignment. It must also include a reference section and citations. It should
consider the following questions:
* What is the topic of the week?
* What are the main points of the week from the week’s readings (a minimum 4 course
concepts with definitions).
* What new things have you learned?
* What is the current event from 2024 about this weeks reading from (presentation slide A)
* How does the current event link up with the field of Public Administration?
* How does what you have learned benefit you?
* Will what you have learned alter your behavior in the future?
