Successful companies have Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) of one or more types but very rarely of all four types. Three companies or brands with SCA are Cadbury, Tiffany’s and Bounty paper towels.
1. Identify which type(s) of SCA they currently have. Explain.
2. What could they do to develop an additional type of SCA they do not currently have?
Base your answers on your personal knowledge/experience with these companies and their products, as well as the theory of SCA.

There are four principal Marketing eras we have seen over time. You are the CEO of Sony, a leading manufacturer of personal electronics. You have held this position for 80 years (!) and have seen the company successfully go through all four eras.
Illustrate how Sony succeeded in each of the Marketing eras by giving specific examples of activities and initiatives the company undertook. (You should not research the company’s actual historical activities. Your examples should be fictitious based solely on your knowledge of the company and of the Marketing eras.)
