Week 3 assignment
For assignment one, you will compose an annotated bibliography in preparation for a change proposal. For this assignment, select an area of diversity and inclusion that is of interest to you. Choose a current D&I issue within the workplace with the intent to frame a proposal to senior leadership or state legislature.
You will present information on this issue in two sections. The first section should be written in the form of an academic essay, providing an introduction of 2-3 pages that explains the issue you have selected and what change you intend to propose. You will then create an annotated bibliography of at least 10 sources (no more than 12).
Format
1. Submitted assignment should include a cover page and 2-3 page introduction to the selected issue (including in-text citation and references as appropriate). The introduction should be written in the form of an executive summary:
1. What is the issue?
2. Why is it relevant to the organization?
2. Bibliographic information must be presented in APA format.
3. Annotations go beneath the bibliographic listing for each source in paragraph form. The lengths of the annotations may vary; however, they must be a minimum of two paragraphs in length, but no more than 1 full page.
*Do not simply copy and paste the abstract from an article used for purposes of the annotated bibliography. Articles should be peer-reviewed, not from popular press magazines and/or websites. Utilize the CLU library resources to identify the articles used in this assignment.

Mechanics: This assignment is to be submitted as an academic essay. Introduction of 2-3 pages, annotations, and Reference page following the APA style. 10-12 sources for the annotated bibliography. You are required to reference the readings and articles that provide evidence of effectiveness for your proposed plan. Adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines for citation and references.
