Go to P&G’s Canadian website (pg.ca) and find five brands that belong to the product category of shampoo. (Once you are on P&G’s site, click Our Brands, then click Brands on the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the Hair Care section to find P&G’s shampoo brands.)
Describe and compare P&G’s positioning/differentiation strategies for any four of these brands. Base your answer on the information you find from multiple sources – each brand’s website, advertisements, packaging, social media accounts, etc. Indicate the information sources in your report.
Then, visit a store (either online or brick-and-mortar) and record the prices of each brand, using a common basis such as price per ounce or per ml. (Be sure to indicate which store you collected the information from.)
