Develop a case study concerning a human resource issue. Use current literature in the field to develop a solution to the problem. Academic journals, business periodicals, books and reputable websites may be used for your research. Ensure that your resources are reliable and that you properly cite all sources used. Start with a description of the case, which should take about 1 to 1.5 pages and follow with the resolution based on your research.
Utilize the MEAL plan when developing the paragraphs for your paper’s sections. See below for summary of the MEAL plan:
Main Idea: Your topic sentence stating the concrete claim the paragraph is advancing.
Evidence: Paraphrase or direct quotations from the source material you are using to support your topic sentence’s claim.
Analysis: Your explanation and evaluation of the evidence; explaining the evidence you provided and its relevance in your own words.
Lead Out: Concluding; preparing your reader to transition to the next paragraph (and the next claim).
The paper should reveal additional information beyond that covered in the textbook. Your own analysis, summary, and conclusions will increase the value of your paper.
Term papers will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 full double-spaced pages of content (excluding cover and reference pages).
At least 3 academic sources other than the textbook must be used to write the paper.
Use proper in-text references for your sources when quoting directly or indirectly, and full end of paper Reference page. APA format needs to be used. Information on APA is provided in Blackboard.
