Creating a Brand Name, Image, and Logo
As a product manager, the assignment is to develop a brand name (choose one product from a list of different products below) and complete the following:
Create a brand name. (do something with sports or skincare)
Using the Internet, choose a major competitor and then analyze your suggested brand name against the competitor. In your analysis, make sure you address:
The brand equity (value) of the competitor’s brand name.
Why do you believe the brand name you choose will help the product stand out to consumers and create brand awareness? Relate this back to your target market.
3. Create a brand name image and logo that will be distinctive. Explain the characteristics and why you believe the brand image and logo will be effective.
Choose one product line below for your brand name, image, and logo:

A new cosmetic

A new jean
A new energy drink
A new perfume or cologne
A new vacuum
Other (you can choose the category but you must seek instructor approval before proceeding)
