Assignment Overview and Purpose: You will complete five marketing plan task assignments this term. These assignments are designed to complete sections of your final project in small tasks throughout the term.
Assignment Instructions: This week, complete the following. Your response should be around 2 pages in length and submitted as an APA formatted paper.
Select a topic for the marketing plan. Most students select a product they would like to develop a marketing plan. This can be an existing product or hypothetical (something you may want to invent). You can select a cause you would like to develop a marketing plan for instead of a product (Ex: breast cancer awareness, etc.).
Strategy (3-4 pages):
The selling strategy: Provide a detailed strategy to sell your product. Provide examples of tactics you can use and ideas for selling (influencer marketing, traditional marketing, etc.).
Pricing plan: Include a pricing plan. Make sure to notate pricing strategy for the initial launch and long-term pricing in retail stores and online.
Provide a brief plan for market implementation: Create an outline to implement the product in the market. Share if you will launch it through social media and share how you will implement it through many different media channels to achieve market saturation.
Distribution: Create a plan for distribution
Communication plan: Share a plan for your communication goals related to the product.
