larger than 12. You are not required to
cite outside sources however if you decide to use a direct quote then you must

I
will choose three retailers for you. From this list choose one and prepare a
brief report of this business covering three specific areas:
(1)
In your own words (not Wikipedia or the retailer’s web page “About Us” section)
discuss the retailer’s history, when it was founded and how it evolved over
time (2) Describe what make this retailer unique. In this discussion identify
the business’s retail mix (type of merchandise and services offered,
merchandise pricing, advertising and promotional programs, store
designs, customer assistance) as well as their primary competitors and (3) Identify
the channels by which the retailer tries to reach their customers and provide
an evaluation from a customer’s perspective (yours) of their effectiveness
(overall shopping experience, merchandise assortment, ease in using the site or
attractiveness of store, customer service etc.)
