Senior Memory Book Chapter 8: The Final One!

As you reflect on your upcoming graduation, remember that you did not get here alone. You’ve had the love, support, and guidance of many people along the way. They have loved you, mentored you, celebrated you–now is the time to thank them for their support. Write a letter to a family member, friend, or community member to thank them for all they have done for you. Be specific and detailed in your reflection.
Write this in a letter format, addressed directly to someone specific in your life.
This is a personal essay, and based on the directions/ the prompt above I would like it to be written about my mother.
Talk about how i would not be where i am today if it wasn’t for her support, love, and guidance, and how she’s always been there for me since the day i was born as her first daughter, she was always there to celebrate me during my wins, and comfort me during my losses and failures. All the nights she stayed up late to help me finish my homework and projects in elementary school, and how she would always encourage me to be brave and never be scared of anything, she would always tell me that i can overcome anything that comes my way, when i was too scared to ride my first bike she was the one who helped overcome that fear by always pushing me to practice, she was also the one who helped me learn how to swim, i remember she would take me to the pool everyday when i was 7 and teach me since i wanted to swim like my sister. Her belief in me gave me the courage and confidence to succeed.
I remember during 6th grade when i made it to the spelling bee finale she drove us 3 hours to sit in a audience and listen to foreign words, since her first language is arabic just to see me walk across the stage and compete, Seeing her in the audience meant everything to me and encouraged me to give the spelling bee my all and make her proud, She was always there to cheer me on and be my #1 supporter no matter how busy she was she would always make time to support me.
Throughout highschool and all the challenges i faced, she was always there to listen to me through all the complaining whether it was about my friends or school or my siblings, and she would always offer me advice with no judgment, she was always there to lift me up when i faced setbacks and remind me that im still young and that everything eventually passes and gets better
When i got my first job at 15 she would drive me there every weekend at 7 am
Even though I lie to her sometimes about small things, she’s still the first person I come to tell everything to. I always trust her with all my secrets since she always has really good feedback for me, and sometimes we just end up laughing it off.
As i prepare to start a new chapter in my life, i will forever be grateful for all her sacrifices and devotion to making me into the girl i am today, she taught me to always be kind and compassionate to everybody because you never know what a person is going through, and to always stay resilient, and stick to my values and beliefs.
Thank her for being my biggest supporter and closest friend, and that I feel very blessed to have the most amazing mom in the world and that I love her so much and can’t put into words how much she means to me.
Also feel free to add anything you think would fit this essay or make it sound better, and please write it in the style of a senior in highschool, so don’t make it sound too perfect, but still sound personal and genuine, and good enough for an A or a B.
