Note that the questions are similar to the previous case analysis. However, I am raising the bar in my expectations in this module. Make sure to revisit your module 4 case analysis once I release your module 3 grades in case of critical errors. In any case, submit your best work before the due date. If I delay my feedback to your module 3, I will give you some time to revisit your module 4 submission, should you need it, even after module 4’s due date.
General Instructions:
You should create a thread to gain access to the discussion board.
The discussion board is visible to the entire class.
Follow the due date(s) to receive a full mark on discussions.
Your postings should be original. No plagiarism!
Your postings should be clear and also void of any vulgar language.
Your comments on someone else’s post should be respectful, constructive, and professional. Strictly keep the back-and-forth arguments between two people to three rounds.
When asked to provide comments on your classmates’ posts, click reply to do so. The requirement to reply to other students’ postings will appear under specific instructions, if any.
Unless specified otherwise, strictly keep the length of your initial post below 200 words and your comments to other students below 150 words each.
Specific Instructions
In most cases, negotiation is like playing chess. Often, we need to read our opponent’s actions a couple of moves ahead of time. Think about a reaction the opera house may have to your proposal.
Step 1: Post a thread and indicate the following. Format your posting in the following manner, include the following subtitles A, B, and C in your posting:
A – The proposal – a specific proposal to the opera house – the proposal should be in line with your DRAFT negotiation plan and issues that you have already worked on,
B – The Reaction – anticipate the opera house’s response, and
C – The Contingency Plan – offer another action to balance the equation. We call this third action a contingency plan or at least one typical form of it.
