( Provide a lot of detail: Frequent shopper, points, customer loyalty, customer identifying information, communities, events, etc.) What do these CRM programs accomplish for the retailer and the customer? What data does the retailer collect? Do you know what they DO with the data? (Hint: Join a loyalty program and read the disclaimers and privacy statements they ask you to agree to which will outline what data they collect, I do not expect you to pay for this, so look carefully)
How would you describe the BEST customers for your retailer (use psychographics—this is a unique target market as they are targeted EXISTING customers)? Do they have any programs to identify and target the WORST (money losing) customers (this may be hard to find but try–Try to see if there are any programs to discourage or charge customers that are “high maintenance” or “costly.” )
