Respond to the two essay questions for the examination. Each must be typed, double-spaced, with a 12 point font. Each question should be a minimum of 2-2.5 pages in length in order to receive full credit. You also must include personal feelings, examples and relate concepts from class discussions in order to receive full credit. These two questions will be worth 100 points toward your examination grade. Keep in mind that this is an individual effort and no collaboration between members of this class is acceptable. If you use another person’s work (i.e. Text or articles online), you must cite the author in a works cited section. Taking another individual’s thoughts, expressions and or written work without citation is a violation of academic integrity. You should have 5 to 6 outside sources within your response. Any questions you might have should be directed to the professor for further explanation. Your response is due Saturday May 8, 2021 at 11:59pm; absolutely no late submissions will be accepted. If you email me your response late it will be equivalent to a zero on your final exam.
1) If you were assigned the responsibility for selling your firms products on eBay, how would you achieve the highest price? Give five specific ideas. Within your explanation please identify the type of product(s) you plan to sell. You should be very specific; remember you could include selling a multitude of different products (product family). You should consider including the type of pricing strategy you will implement in order to sell the greatest number of products.
2) What is predatory pricing? What federal acts make it illegal? How are consumers hurt by predatory pricing you must go into great detail? Give two potential product examples of predatory pricing. Also describe a situation a marketer might face that might be legal but might not be ethical.
