What two new concepts or skills have you learned and want to develop further?
Communcation- I am a very quiet person when it come to work and school, talking to people is something that I try to avoid, I even have a hard time in these discussion, I just not sure have people will see me, So communcation is something that I need to work on, I can talk freely to people I know, but when it comes to doing presention or group meeting a work, I get nerve, so how i will develop this skill for the further is to write the things down that I want to say or ask, think before I speak, and to to talk more slowly and to be clear.
Time Management- it feels like I have so much to do in a day, I work go to school and taking care of my family, I have a 18 year old who just started college and a 9 year old in 4th grade, so my morning and night alot very hectic, somethme is just feel like it not enough time in the day, so I researched ways to help to manage me days better,Determine Your Priorities. In your day-to-day activities, some tasks are more important than others, Avoid Multitasking,Avoid Distractions,Learn to Say No,Use Time Management Apps,Organize Your Day,Take Breaks, Reduced Anxiety, Ihave applied some of these techniques and it seem to be working so far.
Describe a concept from this course that you have applied or will apply in the workplace-
A concept from this course that I will and have applied will that everyone is different and have a different culture, learning to understand the different in culture was an complete eye opener, I know now that what some may find funny other may not so you have to be self and socila aware of the things you say and do.
What business concept was most challenging in the course, and how did you overcome that challenge?
One of the most challengeing concept was learning and research work about the training of Expatriates, but as I did more research I learned that it have to be some rigor training when it come to someone going to work in a different country, to overcome this I reseached alot of different articles and paper regarding this matter.
How have you grown personally and/or professionally through this course?
Set a schedule, be on time,Accept constructive criticism,Learn new skills,Dedicate time for self-improvement,be polite,Separate work life and personal life,Be consistent in your performance.
