The Franklintown City Council ultimately voted to expend bus service to address the congestion problem in Franklintown, but left many implementation issues unaddressed. The Council has asked the City Manager to examine these issues and then propose an implementation plan for approval.
A private business recently contacted the City Manager about building a customized computer software system that would enhance the efficiency of the bus system “through enhanced logistical routing and user demand generated optimization by collecting and analyzing meta-data and personal information from users and citizens.”
