Your team should choose an industry or a sub-section of an industry that has adequate data and ideally is listed in one of the industry databases available to you or through the Meriam library. Once the team has decided on the industry, you will need to locate relevant industry information and narrow the purview to a manageable level for allow for a meaningful analysis. Please consider the Industry Analysis Guidelines below as a starting point.
The relevant data should largely include Covid, or March 2020 forward. The timing will reflect an understanding of the dramatic shifts to the business climate since the start of the pandemic and should be forward looking.

a) What are current corporate social responsibility challenges to the industry?
b) How is the industry managing these concerns?
c) Are there industry standards and, if so, how are they enforced?
c) Who are the industry leaders/innovators and what measures are they employing?
d) What concerns exist or are looming for the industry? How can these be addressed?

1) Structure
a) Does the industry have a regional, national or international presence?
Your written report should provide a comprehensive analysis of your industry. The length and topics of the paper will depend somewhat on the industry you choose, (PLEASE including exhibits, tables etc). You should write the report in a manner that is appropriate for an audience in the upper management levels of a company. Please refer to Purdue Owl or other style manual for technical writing guidelines. The report should be consultant quality.
