Your paper must be a minimum of 7 pages in length plus a Works Cited. (Times New Roman, 12 point font, double spaced). Deductions will be given for any paper under 7 pages. Any paper over 10 pages will receive a deduction.

(4) A minimum of 7 unique sources must be used, and each main body paragraph must contain at least one source. Centralia’s online college library should serve as your source for your research. No use of Google, Yahoo, or Wikipedia. You may, however use Google Scholar
(5) A clear thesis is located in the final sentence of paragraph 1. Please review the Power Point in assignment 1 for writing an effective thesis statement. Hint: Did you use the word “should” or a similar word?
(6). A clear focus must be stated in the topic sentence (sentence 1) of each main body paragraph
(7) Paragraph unity and convincing research is found in each paragraph. If you have a main body paragraph without research to support your argument, then it is simply an opinion paragraph. Every main body paragraph should have multiple citations of research and statistics.
(8) The paper is free of grammar and sentence structure mistakes.
(9) Both signal and non-signal phrases are required.
(10) Effective transitions are used.
(11). Only 10-15% of citations are direct quotes. The remainder are paraphrases and summaries.
(12) First person not allowed: “I, me, we, us” should not be found anywhere in your paper.
(12) The paper is convincing and logical.
(13) Clear and effective use of logos, ethos, and pathos are used throughout the paper.
