Your favorite aunt Sherri is not a very tech-savvy person, but she is very curious and asked you what fintech is. During
your conversations you found out that she is still using traditional financial services to manage her money, debt, payments,
etc. You briefly describe to her what fintech is and how she can use her phone and computer to do most of her personal
finance tasks. She asked you to make some suggestions, which you will include in this report:
1. What fintech is and its promises of improving her everyday life and finances.
2. What are some of the challenges she might have using fintech for the first time and limitations of fintech
promises.
3. Compare firms in all of the categories and make one recommendation from each category based on pros and cons
of the services/products offered by each company from a consumer point of view. It should be clear that you analyzed
and compared facts, reviews, and other important information about each firm/product that demonstrates CRITICAL
THINKING SKILLS. Your report must show evidence of the following in each area:
1) Logical Argumentation – Identifying various types of arguments, analyzing components of arguments, and
formulating good arguments.
2) Analysis – Breaking concepts and assertions down into components and identifying the interrelations of
these parts in order to ascertain the defining features of the concepts.
3) Evaluation – Identifying assumptions and assessing the quality and reliability of sources of evidence
concepts and the meaning of assertions.
4) Synthesis – Drawing together disparate claims into a coherent whole in order to arrive at well-reasoned and
well-supported inferences.
