Your critical reflection should address one or more of the following questions:
Which concept(s) introduced in the unit did you find most interesting or compelling and why?
What concept(s) introduced in the unit did you find most surprising or challenging and why?
Has the unit evolved how you think about the topic(s)? If yes, how so?
Are there questions that remain unanswered for you or new questions that have arisen?
Are there other points of view that you might consider to further understand the topic(s)?
How do the concept(s) covered relate to your own experiences and existing knowledge?
How might the concept(s) covered change how you think about the topic(s) moving forward?
Be specific! Your reflections must be supported by examples and resources. This means you must make reference to particular theorists, artists, articles, videos, artworks, podcasts, etc. You must also reference at least one independently identified example or resource, which might include a particular artwork, art exhibition, reading, video, or podcast not already given to you or mentioned. Your reflections are an opportunity to articulate your own thoughts about art supported by examples of art theory and practice.
Written reflections must be between 700-1250 words in length. You must include a bibliography of works cited regardless of the format that you choose. Any referencing style is acceptable.
