You will be expected to discuss a minimum of 8 concepts we have covered in the course. The first
time you mention this concept or theory you bold and underline the word. You are expected to
give a description or definition of the concept and make an in-depth analytical connection with the
theories and concepts we have discussed in class. Simply mentioning a concept will not
adequately display analytical efforts.
All material must be your own – verbatim quotes should be used sparingly and attributed with in-text citations and full bibliographic information in the reference list. NO
MATERIAL may be copied-pasted from the internet. For each component, be sure to answer
each part. Be sure to make clear connections (with citations) to the class material.
Use APA style for in-text citations – you must use in-text citations in your essay when you refer
to a source or include a verbatim quote in parentheses, with author name and year of
publication (and page number if verbatim quote). Use APA style for the citations – see
http://www.apastyle.org/. In your text, you have to make it clear what information comes from
the movie, what information comes from other spaces and what is your personal opinion or
observation. Do not just write www.google.com or www.crimelibrary.com as a reference, you
have to reference the textbook and use a minimum of 2 additional academic sources for your
research (if you are unsure of whether or not your source is academic please consult me before your submission). You have to provide a final page with a reference list (which is not counted
towards your page limit).
The essay will be double-spaced 12pt Times new Roman 1-inch margins. The essay will be
approximately 7 pages. Minimum length of essay that will be accepted is 7 pages and the maximum
length of essay that will be accepted is 10 pages. The file should be in a Word file. Make sure to
put your first name and last name as well as the course name in the header. Provide a title and
headings throughout the text.

In the two slides provided look at the concepts and theories and discuss them in the essay.
