For this assignment, you must analyze:
1.  Two paintings by Jacques-Louis David (No Portraits!)
List all characteristics and techniques listed above and analyze each one for each painting.

D.  The titles of the artworks are not written properly in italics.  The first letter of each word is not capitalized.  The year is incorrect or not in parentheses.  The artist’s name is misspelled or incorrect.
Painting analysis
E1.  For each of the paintings:  Did not list all the characteristics.  Missing one or more characteristics.
E2:  Did not fully explain where the characteristics are shown in the art works.  
E3:  One or more of the characteristics you detected is incorrect or incomplete.  Improper grammar used (personal pronouns, apostrophes, non-academic English).
E4:  Poor choice of artwork; unable to analyze the majority of the characteristics; this is not a painting, a painting contains colors.  Choose another that better suits this assignment.
E5:  No portraits.  
Biblical/Religious summary
F.  Did not summarize the Ancient Greek or Ancient Roman story. 
Painting techniques
G.  Is missing one or more painting techniques.  Did not write a single sentence describing where the technique is found on the art work.
