Mark’s wife Tracy was listening to the concert from her home in Scotland. Tracy was convinced she had heard Mark’s screaming and believed he was fatally injured. Tracy managed to catch a plane to Cardiff and arrived at the hall before Mark was rescued. Jane, a paramedic worked tirelessly to assist the casualties but became overwhelmed by what she had witnessed, and subsequently took three months off work.
