Midterm Project: Pick a job you think you might want right out of college (you will need to include a copy of a job ad for that position). Write your resume AND cover letter for that position. This is worth a lot of points towards your grade so I will have very high expectations.
Requirements:
You must use a colorful Microsoft template for your resume and a matching cover letter.
Please attach a separate word document with a copy of the job add and a link to that job.
On your resume make sure to use key words (from the job requirements or overview) throughout your resume.
For example when I started looking for my first teaching position I made sure to add words like training, coaching, development because I had those experiences in my career and those were some of the words they used to describe the open position. I did not add words like curriculum development because I had not done that yet.
Your cover page must be written for that specific job- I do not want to see any vague or universal cover letters. Make sure this cover letter sells you as a candidate!
