Write a short, but well-developed essay (600-750 words) reflecting on your experiences in this course, MSU, and college in general.
What did you learn?
Can you cite an example of how what you learned at McNeese broadened your point of view?
Can you cite an example of how you applied something you learned in one class in another class?
Based on what you’ve learned at McNeese, what do you wish you had known when you were a freshman? In other words, if you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
What did you wish you had learned?
Were there any activities that you wish you had participated in?
Where do you see yourself in five years? Be sure to include both professional and personal goals.
What do intend to do with your BGS degree? Do you have a job lined up?
What other experiences (work, volunteer, etc.) will help you in reaching your goals?
Do you feel that you got the most out of your college experience and education?
Feel free to add anything that I have not listed here.
Please use Times New Roman font, 12 point only. ALL margins should be 1′. Since this is an essay, please remember that your paper should not be one long paragraph. You should have an introduction, body, and conclusion. Spelling and grammar count, so make sure you proofread your document closely.
Please save the file as the first initial of your first name, your full last name and final. For example, I would save mine as jhebert_final. DO NOT save the file as anything other than an MS WORD document (.doc) or a rich text file (.rtf)! Do not put it in a zip file, in Works, or in word pad because I may not be able to open it. I would rather a PDF document!
All of these questions must be answered and all requirements following (including word count), or you are not fulfilling the requirements of the assignment, which can result in a failing grade.
