Margins – top, bottom and both side margins are to be set at 1 inch. Note: Microsoft Word sometimes has side margins at inches. Change it. 4. DOUBLE-SPACE YOUR PAPER. This means that there is 1 line between each line of text. 5. INDENT THE FIRST LINE OF ALL PARAGRAPHS.
