Write a 3-4 page paper about cinema and how the course material helped you better understand it. Unlike Paper One, this does not have to be thesis-driven. Write clear and focused paragraphs, and use transitions to indicate a change in subject.
The paper should do the following:
–Describe and analyze specific films and film scenes, both films watched for class and films watched on your own.

“Double Count” Option
You can have this assignment also count as the Week 5 or Week 6 writing assignment. To do this, the paper should fulfill the requirements of the other assignment–it should discuss the “long film” at length to fulfill the Week 5 assignment; or it should discuss both Eraserhead and the New German Cinema film you watched to fulfill the Week 6 assignment. Simply upload the same paper for both assignments.
