TOPIC 1: Sales and Lease Contracts – The UCC requires written modifications to contracts if the parties agree that they will not accept oral modifications. However, if the parties agree to accept oral modifications then the Parole Evidence Rule may apply. Explain that Rule and apply it to an actual or possible situation in your work. If you don’t work presently, apply it to a former job or a job you hope to have. (Apply it to a situation related to the job of an Accounting Controller)
TOPIC 2: Good Faith and Reasonableness – The terms “good faith” and “reasonableness” are used throughout the legal system. Define them LEGALLY and cite the source. Then apply one or the other term to a situation you have (or make up) in your workplace to demonstrate your understanding of the term.
