Menopause Example of Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor SMART Goals
Cognitive: By the client’s next follow-up appointment, the client will research and list five things she can practically implement to support her body through menopause.
Affective: The client will join a women’s support group for menopause/midlife by her next appointment and will attend consistently for at least two months.
Psychomotor: The client will implement an exercise routine of walking 30-45 minutes daily 4-5 days a week to support her body through menopause and prevent diabetes. This will foster a healthier lifestyle and allow time for socialization and fresh air.

Specific: To reduce hot flashes and night sweats associated with menopause
Measurable: To decrease the frequency of hot flashes and night sweats by at least 50%
