Why does Anderson think we should understand equality in terms of “capabilities” (or
“freedoms”) rather than “resources” (i.e. wealth and income)? How does she clarify the idea of
equal capabilities, so that it is not misunderstood? Do inequalities in the distribution of resources
matter at all, on her view?
