Below, I have provided scenarios for you to discuss the potential use of memory-erasing drugs. Choose 2 of the scenarios below from the list to use for part 2.
Soldiers returning from combat with memories of traumatic experiences.
Young victims of rape or other sexual assault.
Someone involved in a serious car accident.
A parent who lost a young child.
Someone who broke up a serious long-term relationship.
Someone in college who got a first failing grade ever.
After you have selected the 2 scenarios above, write a 250-word paper for each scenario not including the Title page and reference page for both scenarios answer the questions below.
What would be the consequences of erasing all those memories?
Who should make those decisions?
Where to draw the line?
What/who could help answer these and other questions?
