Choose a country that isn’t Canada. Make sure it’s one that you are interested in and will be comfortable reading information provided by its national government, either in an official language or an English translation.
In no more than 500 words, drawing on the World Factbook and other sources, describe the key features about this country (culture, political system, economy, etc) that you believe are most relevant in determining:
the impact of COVID-19; and,
the public health measures enacted by the government (or multiple levels of government) during the pandemic
You may want to organize some of this information as a table (similar to the World Factbook one-page summary) to keep it concise. Think of it as a 1-2 page reference sheet for your chosen country.
In addition to the 500 words above, make sure you list the head of state, head of government, and any major national politicians or public health officials who are responsible for leading through the pandemic. For each person, write one paragraph that covers:
Who are they? How long have they been in these roles? What was their background before taking on their current role?
You do not need a title page. Include details such as your name, student number, course number and date in the top right corner of the first page.
You do need a bibliography page at the end.
Provide in-text citations following APA format.
