CHILD DEVELOPMENT How to do an Issue Paper- Suicide Issues Children face many issues today. The media is full of problems that young children are faced with. You will need to identify one of these issues that you are eager, excited and passionate about researching and writing a paper about. Issue Paper Format: Major Childhood Issues will be discussed. Students assigned to Issues will write 4-page paper.
Follow this format: 1. Introduction: What issue about and why important to you personally 2. Middle part: Issue with explanations of key points from your research. Make sure you add your comments also. 3. End/conclusion: What are your 5 solutions of how issue can be remedied based on research findings?
Please number your solutions. i.e. My first solution is ….My second solution is …etc Make sure you write a short paragraph explaining each solution. 4. References: Need 5 Reference sources, if Internet please list Web-page, author & title. Use APA format. 5. Extra (if needed) Appendix: Can include statistical information like graphs, pie charts etc, interview notes you conducted for additional research, community meeting notes you attended for additional info., helpful info or community resources that you have gathered to help people facing your issue.
