Nurse: Mrs. Lindermen how are you feeling today, Patient: The pain is unbearable, I just can’t do this anymore, Nurse: would you like me to give you some pain medication, Patient: Yes please, but no more chemotherapy, it’s just too much for me, Nurse: Well I spoke to Dr Klein and he told me how you feel, Patient Daughter: Can I speak with you outside?, Nurse: yeah, I’m going to get your pain medication and speak to your daughter if that’s okay?, Patient: Yeah that’s okay, Both Nurse and Patient daughter leave room, Patient daughter: My mother doesn’t know what she’s saying, we have to do everything to save her, she has to have the chemotherapy.
