I am a 23 year old college student, an upcoming artist, adaughter of the universe, and am african american.
b. How much value you place on yourself (self-esteem or self-worth) I value myself alot.

ii. Discuss experiences in which you had high and low self-esteem. High self esteem about doing well at a retail job becoming a manager at forever 21. Low self esteem about not making the saintsations dance teams and getting discourage.
iii. Discuss how family values and culture influence your self-concept. Family values and cultural influence does influence my self concept a bit but I am not consumed by others ways of life or how I should feel about myself.
iv. Discuss how your gender roles and stereotypes may impact your self-concept. Because I am a woman and black it is harder to get accepted into many things in life. They expect so much out of women but we get paid less than men. An as an african american we are looked upon as not educated and ghetto.
v. Discuss how your personal traits impact your self-concept. I am generous, kind, impulsive, fun, and free-spirited.
c. What you wish you were really like (ideal-self)
I wish I was like I am now but just getting paid to do what i love which is travel and teach dance and be big superstar artist like Beyonce.
