Start by reviewing the rules of the challenge and buying guidelines in SNAP Challenge Guidelines for M3 Discussion 2, follow the income limits for the size of your family. Research grocery stores near you and start thinking about how you would get there, what if you do not have a car, what if you have a disability where you need to utilize a wheelchair? What kind of barriers would you potentially face?
Utilize the Meal Planner/Grocery List document to start planning your meals and be sure to include how much eat meal will cost you at the grocery store you are shopping at.

Describe your first impressions after reading the full SNAP Challenge rules.
Share whether or not you actually completed this challenge and if so, for how long. Did you make any of the meals? Did you use Leanne Browns cookbook? If so, include a picture to share with the class!
What was the most challenging part of making the meal plan? How did it differ from how you normally plan your meals?
What choices did you make about the types of food you could afford, and did you shop anywhere different? What were your thoughts on the nutritional quality of foods you were able to purchase?
What barriers did you find in getting to the grocery store?
Did eating on a limited budget impact your mood? Your concentration? Interactions with family/friends/coworkers? Were you/did you worry about your groceries running out before the end of the Challenge?
