Consider the unequal global impact of Covid-19. Specifically, I would like you to explore the ways in which inequalities of various sorts have interacted with Covid-19 in order to give rise to some of the impacts we have seen both domestically and globally. This is an informal paper, so you are not required to do significant research. What I suggest is that you read some news pieces and perhaps some publications by institutes that are looking at this very issue. All of this can be found through a quick Google search. Once you have reviewed some of this information, I would like you to write a brief three-to-five page paper discussing your reactions to what you have read? I would like you to consider questions like: What has Covid-19 taught us about global inequality and its consequences? What are some potential global human rights implications of Covid-19? Do you think there are potential solutions to these issues? If so, what are they? How does this current event fit within the context of our class material?
Paper should be spell and grammar checked and, while informal, still needs to be written in a scholarly fashion. All citations needs to be cited appropriately both in-text and in the reference section of your paper.
