Please respond to the following question(very very short answer pls): What does “One Country, Two Systems” entail for Hong Kong? Is Hong Kong National Security Law problematic? If so, why?
Also please shortly response to peer’s post(also just very short comment): “One country, two systems gives Hong Kong relative freedom to develop, both economically and in other areas such as politics, media, and law. At the same time, Hong Kong has been given the right to govern itself. However, the autonomy of Hong Kong has led to a very rapid development of class confrontation. Many young people born in Hong Kong yearned for independence and freedom, which led to a period of riots. Some Hong Kong people are sensitive to the Chinese interior and 2047 because they are not sure what will happen when one country, two systems becomes one country, one system in 2047 and imagine that their freedom will be violated.
I think there’s no big problem of Hong Kong national security law. because Hong Kong is indeed a part of China. China has the right to protect its own national borders in the event of a riot. The Hong Kong security law begins to increase control over Hong Kong through direct legislation by the central government, controlling from the top thus maintaining social stability and security in Hong Kong.”
