This assignment consists of a unit plan and a reflective essay.
The theme of this lesson plan is teaching THIRD GRADE STUDENTS the different cultures and how to differ between them.
I made the lesson plan already, but add to it- USE A DIFFERENT COLORED FONT OTHER THAN RED. Use specific examples, etc. Then FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS BELOW.
Criteria for the unit plan:
All three stages of the UbD unit plan must be complete for five days worth of teaching and learning. LAY OUT ALL FIVE DAYS AND EXPLAIN WHAT IS TAUGHT EACH DAY.
InTASC standards are apparent in the designed unit.
Criteria for the reflective essay:
The essay will need to answer the following questions:
What criteria and resources did you use to identify your unit theme?
How did you identify and formulate your desired results?
What methods and strategies did you consider and utilize to support student learning?
How did you choose and align performance tasks?
What steps did you take in implementing your learning plan?
What additional evidence did you require to evaluate student outcomes?
How did unit development and implementation support your future practice as a teacher?
The essay will need to follow the following guidelines:
Two page minimum; Three page maximum
Correct spelling and grammar
Written at a college level in APA format
Times New Roman; Double spaced; 12pt
The InTASC Standards covered in the Key Assignment are:
