I already have the introductory section completed and attached with a list of sources. I just need the body, discussion section, and conclusion.
Body of your paper, in which you analyze your scholarly secondary sources – Some of the issues you may seek to address include:
What is the scope of each secondary source, meaning what does it address and what does it not address (as compared to other sources)?
What primary and significant secondary sources does the scholar rely upon?
What is the primary argument that the source presents to address your topic (how it answers your question)?
What conclusions does the scholar draw based on the available historical evidence (primary sources)?
What agreement or disagreement does the scholar raise with regard to prior scholarly work on the topic?
Note: How you structure the body of your paper will depend on how you analyze your sources. Usually this is chronologically, but it may instead be thematically if the scope of your sources is not directly comparable or sparse.
Discussion section, in which you assess the overall trends and themes presented in the scholarly secondary literature.
Conclusion summarizing your analysis
