You do not need to include a bibliography, though you should cite to course materials either in parentheses in text, or in footnotes, or endnotes as you prefer. You may use any citation style (e.g. ASA, APA, MLA), provided you include the author’s name, title, and the year of publication. If you explicitly quote the author(s), of course you should also use quotation marks and provide a page number. This assignment is primarily an assessment of your engagement with the required course materials, so your use of them to support your discussion is the main basis for grading. While you do not have to discuss every material at length, very superficial references will not get full credit. For instance, just saying, “this author referenced that issue” would be superficial – you would want to explain how the reading or material is relevant to the question or point you’re engaging.
