Better-Place is a pretty extreme example of a startup. At $200 million USD, it raised the largest seed round in startup history, led by Shai Agassi – a brilliant entrepreneur and business man, with a proven track record in both early stage ventures as well as large scale corporate enterprises.
However – it did not have a happy ending.
From what you’ve read in the case, and based on the basic startup life cycle model we’ve reviewed in our previous session – what are your impressions regarding possible mistakes the company made in its early years?
