Write a paper that presents what you discovered during your informational interviews. Use APA Style in answering these questions:
Provide a summary about the group within which the two individuals connect. In your summary address the following points:
What are the overall demographics of your group (i.e., education, gender, age and other quantitative characteristics)?
What is the structure (i.e. how often do they meet to make decisions, how and when do they meet, is there one leader or rotation of leadership of the group) and context (i.e. is this a work group, a volunteer group, a mixed group of professional and nonprofessionals, is it the issue or their skill set that brings them together) of the group?
What are the goals and objectives of the group (what is their vision for and mission of their work)?
How is the group resourced (i.e. the resources are from a sustainable source, they are grant funded, they rely on sales and commissions)?
Then answer each question based on your information gathering about the group and your two interviews with members of the group.
How did your meeting with the two individuals clarify for you which aspects of masculine culture, if any, and which aspects of feminine culture, if any, dominated the overall impression you now have as to how the two individuals connect with the group?
How did your meeting with the two individuals clarify for you the power distribution of your group between leadership and group members, and how do you know/conclude that those power distances impact addressing points of conflict?
How did your meeting with the two individuals clarify for you which aspects of collectivism and individualism drives the decision process of the group when conflict arises among the members?
The role of the group/tribe in influencing how your individual(s) identified themselves, their values, and their place within the group.
The values your individual(s) stated which were driving their group leader when conflict arose within the group between the interest of the group and the position of a member, or members, of the group?
