A. What are peoples’ fundamental rights living in this world? Please read and discuss the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. What are the main rights? Discuss how those are essential for social work practice? Discuss some reasons that human rights are not carried out and give an example from the news where a person or persons basic human rights were violated. Please make sure to copy and paste a working URL.
B. Global events have an effect on social welfare and social work and can create various social needs. As citizens of the United States of America, should we only be responsible for the needs that occur within our own country? Explain. Make sure to discuss the three contemporary views/types of social justice and how those relate.
C. Discuss white privilege, male privilege, and heterosexual privilege. What do you think about these and what has been your experiences with each of these? (This could be on the receiving end of the benefits of these privileges or the suffering end of not having these privileges. Please have at least one paragraph discussing each one of these and your experiences with that one.)
