Imagine you have to explain to a patient the difference between treating a bacterial and viral infection who insists that they can be treated with the same antibiotics. What would be your approach? How can you make your patient understand that these infections are very different at the cellular and molecular level? Give at least 3 unique features to bacteria cells and viruses that would help convince your patient not to use antibiotics on viral infections.
