In an APA
Style paper that is 2- to 4-pages, discuss the following:
1. Select one nursing model or theory
from one of the theorists presented in your reading assignment (preferably one
you did not use in your BSN program). In a brief introduction describe why the
selected theory or framework is of interest to the writer.
2. Review the readings that pertain to
this theory and find additional information from scholarly journal articles
that demonstrate the use of that theory. Conduct an analysis and evaluation of
the selected theory on the table provided in Blackboard. (Note: remove all instructions from
the table leaving the horizontal lines, column 1 content provided, column 2
with your single-spaced content added, and headings, and include it in an APA
Style paper with body, references page, and table style.) APA Style table
includes specific requirements and proper location within the document.
3. In a brief conclusion, assess how
practical it would be to implement in today’s environment.
Remember that interpreting and understanding
theory is a main focus of this course, so spend enough time on this assignment
to find new insights that show in your discussion.
APA Style components should include a title page, header
containing page number, body (including table), and references list. In
addition to course textbook(s) and resources provided, you are required to cite
a minimum of two additional outside scholarly sources published within the last
five years to support your analysis and summation. That is at least three to
four resources depending on the week’s readings.
