Part 1: Case Study Analysis Report – 1200 words
Write a report about this case study (Patrick Stevedores), addressing the following questions:
What does VIDEO1 tell you about the bargaining approach used by FWC’s Cooperative Workplaces Program?
Compare/contrast the bargaining approaches adopted by each of the parties to the employment relationship between VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2.
Apply Fox’s Taxonomy (pluralist, unitarist, marxist) to explain these two contrasting approaches adopted by the parties at Patrick Stevedores. What does it suggest about conflict and cooperation in the employment relationship?

Reflect on what assumptions you have made about the case and what have you learned about conflict and cooperation at work and the employment relationship?
