1. What do you notice about your estimated time compared to your actual use of time? Where
were you fairly accurate in your estimates and where were there some surprises?
2. How are you spending your time according to the Covey Quadrant Model? Give specific
examples. Are things ending up in Quadrant 1 that should be in Quadrant 2? What are your
time wasters (Quadrant 4)? What is keeping you from working productively in Quadrant 2?
3. What are your current values, goals, and priorities? What are your academic goals?
4. How well does your use of time reflect these values, goals, and priorities?
5. Does the way you are currently spending your time support your academic goals? What can
you do differently?
6. What specific changes do you want to make in the way you use your time? What things
would you like to spend more time (how much?) and what things would you like to decrease
your time on (how much?) What will you do differently to make your use of time more
effective and reflective of your goals? Be specific and detailed about the changes you
want to make.
7. What specific time management techniques and will you implement to help you achieve
your time management plans? Reference tips and strategies that were covered in the
course and research strategies. How will these strategies help you achieve your specific
goals?
8. How will you specifically implement these new techniques? Give personal specific examples.
